The Community Room would comfortably seat 20 people.
Hankey Street and Hopper Street in Mt Cook. The Community Room faces into the central, grassed courtyard area and does not have any immediate downstairs neighbours. The room is warm and pleasant. It has sliding doors at the entry point. Noise from the outdoor area will carry.
A Health & Safety form will need to be completed as part of the booking.
There is a stove, a hot water zip, coffee mugs and cutlery. No dishwasher. There are two round tables and approximately 20 chairs available. About 8 chairs are in the room, and the other chairs are in a storage lock-up outside. Please advise how many chairs you require, 24 hours before the booking. Thanks.
There is a paved area immediately outside the community room, which can be used for low-noise activities.
Enter from Hankey Street, follow the sloping driveway to the community room. There is an accessible toilet in the Community Room.
No visitor parking available. All car parks are allocated by permit from Kāinga Ora.
Cycle parking is available at the end of the car park off Hopper Street.
Catch the number 3 bus up Taranaki Street. Get off at Massey University and walk down the hill to Hankey Street.
There are pedestrian walkways into Te Mara from Taranaki Street, Hankey Street and Hopper Street through the car park.
69 Hopper Street, Mount Cook. The Community Room is within the Te Māra apartment complex. Walk to the end of the car park. The Community Room is at the end of the building to the right of the car park.
